Hawthorn Electrics are well established Electricians and Electrical Contractors serving Portsmouth, Chichester, Emsworth and Westbourne. Our firm was established to provide efficient, expert solutions to local businesses and individuals.Our services include electrical surveys on houses, flats, offices, manufacturing facilities, churches etc. We offer testing, fault finding, electrical design, installation, commissioning, electrical contracting, pricing, estimating, retail sales and delivery services to homes, offices and factorys..
Our employees offer an excellent service, which is to industry standards of both quality and efficiency. All our engineers are trained to the lasted wiring regulations all have passed a City and Guilds examination for the 17th edition of the wiring regulations (BS7671 2008), and are CIS certified and 1st aid trained which demonstrates our ongoing training commitment.
We also help to train apprentice's to ensure the future of our business and the industry in general.
Our work is subject to annual surveillance, and samples of our work are inspected on a random basis by the NICEIC's local inspecting engineer.
We are qualified to self certify and issue Part P building regulation certificates via our compliance scheme operator which is the NICEIC Domestic Installer scheme.
We are on the approved contractor lists of local authorities and government departments, and get referrals from other organizations such as help the aged.
We are members of the Hampshire County Council Buy With Confidence scheme which means that our standards of service must be of an extremely high nature.

We offer many services related to electrical installations in a variety of property types such as domestic houses, commercial premises and industrial property. We are happy to provide free quotations for electrical installation work which can be priced against a customer specification and drawing or detailed and based upon out interpretation of your requirements.Our Location
Our business is located on the south coast of england on the Hampshire and West Sussex border so we are ideally placed to serve the city's of both Portsmouth and Chichester as well as the main towns of Havant, Waterlooville, Horndean, Petersfield, Hayling Island, Cosham, Portchester, Emsworth, Southbourne, Westbourne and all the many hamlets and villiages that surround these areas. We also have electricians that live outside of our base area and therefore we are able to offer to carry out electrical works in areas such as Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol, Oxford, Reading, Basingstoke and Winchester.
